FOLIANT Castor 530 SF is a high-performance industrial laminator of robust construction, equipped with a suction loader, a high-gloss chrome laminating roller and a compact separator. The maintenance of the machine is facilitated by the service space between the rollers. There are a number of options available - pallet loader, jogger, pallet unloader, electric manipulator with laminating foil. The highest speed of the machine is 50 m / min. The maximum output of the machine is 4100 B2 sheets (max. Format 53 x 74 cm). The FOLIANT Castor 530 SF laminating machine is equipped with a suction loader and electronic control of sheet overlaps. The system is controlled by a PLC and a servomotor. It is also possible to change the overlap settings during lamination from the central touch screen. Loading accuracy is +/- 2 mm at steady speed. The Becker vacuum pump serves as an air source for the entire sheet loading system - for vacuum in the suction cups and for aerating the sheets. The standard loading table has a capacity of 55 cm of paper. Pallet loader (optional) is equipped with a platform for approaching with a pallet of paper on a handling truck directly under the suction cups of the loader. Its capacity is 65 cm paper. The pallet is handled at the front of the machine and thus requires more space in front of the machine compared to a standard loading table. FOLIANT Castor 530 SF is a one-sided industrial laminator for laminating sheets up to 53 x 74 cm, thickness 115 - 500 g / m2. The minimum sheet size is 30 x 25 cm (A4). For lamination of very thin sheets (115 - 150 g / m2) the machine is equipped with a unique adjustable cross bar of the U-profile - thin sheets are more resistant to possible creasing by pressure between the main rollers after passing through the bar in front of the main rollers. There is an open service space between the rollers, which facilitates the maintenance of the laminator, especially the cleaning of the main rollers. An adjustable prism is installed in front of the take-out rollers, which prevents the sheets from twisting after lamination. The intensity of the straightening process is adjustable even when the machine is running by changing the cutting edge angle of the straightening prism. The roll with foil is installed on a pair of middle ages on a robust, lightly placed mandrel. The film unwinding mandrel also includes a friction brake for adjusting the film tension and its alignment and a positioning nut for gently moving the film relative to the longitudinal axis of the machine to achieve precise positioning of the film on the paper relative to the edges and crop marks. Before contact with the roller, the film is further leveled by the spreading roller. The foil carrier (mandrel) has a capacity of up to 3000 m (foil 24 - 31 microns). A standard part of the roll holder is also a perforator (for separating sheets after lamination) and a cutting knife with covers (for cutting the foil to a smaller width before lamination). The handling of the foil is facilitated by an electric manipulator (crane with a winch), which is supplied by the manufacturer as an option. The lamination process itself takes place under high pressure between a pair of laminating rollers - a highly polished chrome-plated roller with heating and a lower polyurethane pressure roller. The chrome-plated laminating roller is heated by internal heating elements, with sensitive temperature sensors installed directly in the cylinder. When laminating narrow sheets, the external heaters are automatically switched off. The lamination pressure is controlled pneumatically, by two control valves (separately for each side of the cylinder). The pressure between the extraction rollers is also pneumatically controlled. For these purposes, the machine requires an external source of compressed air with parameters of 200 l / min, 6 - 8 bar. The entire machine is controlled by an Omron programmable controller via a single touch screen. The used PLC system enables the automation of many processes, such as paper loading, machine stopping in case of loading, lamination and separation failures. The touch screen communicates with the user only through easy-to-understand icons and guides the operator logically through follow-up operations. The chosen solution minimizes human error. The integrated separator is equipped with a pair of high-speed rollers, which separate the laminated sheets of paper with cyclic contacts. This process is also controlled by a central PLC. Then the sheets are unloaded on a fast unloading conveyor and transported to the area of a vibrating jogger (option) or stack unloader (option). The laminator processes polypropylene films (BOPP) with a thickness of 23 - 42 microns and nylon films with a maximum of 35 microns. A special PET module (option) is supplied for lamination of PET foil max. 35 microns. Pallet loader (optional) Instead of a standard lifting table, the basis of a pallet loader is a platform that allows you to handle a special pallet directly under the loader's suction cups. The capacity is 65 cm of paper. Pallet unloader (option) Furnished equipped with a scissor hydraulic forklift truck, sensors and pneumatically operated cellaring. The unit is installed at the end of the laminating line and controlled by a central PLC. The capacity of the standard pallet is up to 65 cm of paper. The handling truck can be operated from the rear or side of the machine by the operator (side handling saves space around the machine). Jogger 530 (optional) Adjustable vibrating unloading table. Its capacity is limited to a block of paper 10 cm high. Electric foil loader (option) Facilitates the handling of the load in the form of a roll of laminating foil (foil 510 mm wide and 3000 meters long weighs approx. 45 kg).
