FOLIANT Taurus 760 SF is a compact, powerful industrial laminator of robust construction, equipped with a suction loader, a polished chrome-plated laminating roller and a compact separator. The following options are available: module for PET film, jogger, pallet unloader, electric manipulator with laminating film. The highest speed of the machine is 30 m / min. The maximum output of the machine is 1700 B1 sheets (max. Format 76 x 110 cm). The FOLIANT Taurus 760 SF laminator is equipped as standard with an upper loader made of a stack of paper, with a suction loading head and a system of automatic overlaps. The entire loading system is driven by an Omron servomotor and controlled by a central PLC. The Becker vacuum pump is used to aerate the sheets and at the same time as a vacuum source for suckers. The sheet overlaps are electronically controlled and can be adjusted by the operator while the machine is running via the touch screen. The accuracy of the overlaps is +/- 2 mm (at constant speed). The loader is equipped with a movable electronically controlled table with fast feed and its capacity is up to 45 cm of paper. FOLIANT Taurus 760 SF is a one-sided industrial laminator for laminating sheets up to 76 x 110 cm, thickness 115 - 500 g / m2. The minimum sheet size is 30 x 25 cm (A4). For lamination of very thin sheets (115 - 150 g / m2) the machine is equipped with a unique adjustable transverse bar of U-profile. A double anti-twist device is installed in front of the pull-out rollers: The usual adjustable prism with a blade that prevents the sheets from twisting after lamination. The intensity of the straightening process is adjustable even when the machine is running by changing the cutting edge angle of the straightening prism. By its rotation, it prevents scratching of sheets printed on both sides with sensitive toners (especially double-sided printed outputs from digital printing machines). Here, too, the intensity of the leveling process is adjustable even when the machine is running. The roll with foil is installed on a pair of middle ages on a robust, lightly placed mandrel. The handling of the foil is facilitated by an electric manipulator (crane with a winch), which is supplied by the manufacturer as an option. The mandrel for unwinding the film also includes a friction brake for adjusting the film tension and its alignment, and a positioning nut for gently moving the film relative to the longitudinal axis of the machine to achieve precise contact of the film with the paper. Before contact with the roller, the film is further leveled by the spreading roller. The foil carrier (mandrel) has a capacity of up to 3000 m (foil 24 - 31 microns). A standard part of the roll holder is also a perforator (for separating sheets after lamination) and a cutting knife with covers (for cutting the foil to a smaller width before lamination). The lamination process itself takes place under high pressure between a pair of laminating rollers - a highly polished chrome-plated roller with heating and a lower polyurethane pressure roller. The chrome-plated laminating roller is electrically heated by an internal heating element with a sensitive temperature sensor. The lamination pressure is controlled pneumatically, by two control valves (separately for each side of the cylinder). For these purposes, the machine requires an external source of compressed air with parameters of 150 l / min, 6 - 8 bar. The entire machine is controlled by an Omron programmable controller via a single touch screen. The used PLC system enables the automation of many processes, such as paper loading, machine stopping in case of loading, lamination and separation failures. The touch screen communicates with the user only through easy-to-understand icons and guides the operator logically through follow-up operations. The chosen solution minimizes human error. The integrated separator is equipped with a pair of high-speed rollers, which separate the laminated sheets of paper with cyclic contacts. This process is also controlled by a central PLC. Then the sheets are laid on the surface of a vibrating jogger (option) or stack unloader (option). The laminator processes polypropylene films (BOPP) with a thickness of 23 - 42 microns and nylon films with a maximum of 35 microns. A special PET module (option) is supplied for lamination of PET foil max. 35 microns. PET Module (option) Special separator design for the separation of polyester laminating film with a maximum thickness of 35 microns. Of course, the machine with the PET module also separates polypropylene foils max. 42 microns and nylon foils max. 35 microns. Pallet unloader (option) Furnished equipped with a scissor hydraulic forklift truck, sensors and pneumatically operated cellaring. The unit is installed at the end of the laminating line and controlled by a central PLC. The capacity of the standard pallet is up to 65 cm of paper. The handling truck can be operated from the rear or side of the machine by the operator (side handling saves space around the machine). Jogger 760 (optional) Adjustable vibrating unloading table. Its capacity is limited to a block of paper 10 cm high. Electric film loader (optional) It facilitates the handling of the load in the form of a roll of laminating foil (foil 510 mm wide and 3000 meters long weighs approx. 45 kg).
