FOLIANT Vega 530A represents a new generation of affordable industrial laminators of compact design, designed for single-sided lamination of large volumes of sheets printed by offset and digital technology in B2 + format. The machine has an integrated large-capacity sheet feeder and a cycling laminated sheet separator. The laminator is supplied as standard with a pressure roller with a non-stick surface. Thanks to the pneumatic pressure of the main cylinders (the compressor is built into the stand and is part of the standard delivery), high lamination pressures are achieved, which is a basic condition for the highest quality lamination of digital prints. Lamination speed is up to 15 m / min, work output up to 1300 B2 sheets per minute (when processing white paper 200 g / m2). The big advantage is the power supply of the whole set (including the optional vibrating hopper) with a single-phase electric supply cable 230 - 240 V. The FOLIANT Vega 530A laminating machine is equipped with a high-capacity paper loader (stack height on a moving table is up to 35 cm) and a proven loading head with a capacitive sensor and vacuum tape. The Becker vacuum pump is used to aerate the sheets on the moving table and to vacuum the top sheets between the laminating rollers. The overlaps are continuously adjusted even when the machine is running with a screw. In steady mode, its stability is in the range of +/- 2 mm. FOLIANT Vega 530A processes sheets with a maximum format of up to 53 x 75 cm as standard. The smallest sheets are 30 x 20 cm (A4). FOLIANT Vega 530A is a one-sided industrial laminator, processing sheets with a thickness of 115 - 500 g / m2. The laminator is equipped with pneumatic pressure of the main laminating and drawing rollers with a built-in compressor. The laminating unit is fully adjustable even during lamination and is equipped as standard with a double system against twisting laminated sheets: The intensity of the straightening process is adjustable by changing the angle of the straightening prism edge. Adjustable roller of small diameter, which also prevents twisting of the sheets after lamination. In addition, its rotation prevents scratching of sheets printed on both sides with sensitive toners (i.e. especially double-sided printed outputs from digital printing machines). Here, too, the intensity of the straightening process is adjustable. The roll with laminating foil is mounted on a shaft with grippers and is equipped with an adjustable friction brake for easy regulation of the force required for unwinding. The capacity of such a carrier is up to 3000 meters of foil up to 31 microns thick. The roll carrier is equipped as standard with a foil perforator and in-line cutting of the foil to the required width. The lamination takes place between a pair of main laminating rollers - a high-gloss chrome-plated laminating roller with internal heating and a pressure roller with a non-stick rubber surface. The pressure between the rollers is controlled pneumatically by the Festo system. The laminating roller is heated by an infrared lamp with sensitive sensor control. The time required to warm up to a working temperature of approx. 100ºC is less than 10 minutes. The entire laminator is controlled by an interactive touch screen with icons, which systematically guides the operator through the control process and thus minimizes human error. An integrated cycling separator separates the laminated sheets from the belt and places them in a vibrating table or fixed positioning hopper (option). The separation process is also corrected by the control unit. The Vega laminator processes standard polypropylene (BOPP) film with a thickness of 23 - 42 microns and nylon film with a thickness of 24 - 35 microns. Non-stick roller (optional) The standard pressure roller is replaced by a special non-stick roller. Even if the heated film comes into direct contact with the cylinder under pressure, due to the special surface, the film does not stick to the cylinder. This eliminates any cleaning.
