Schmedt PräDeck Neo

The PräDeck device is used for the production of book covers of changing formats and also for the production of book covers in small series. With the help of the PräDeck device, bookbinding board and book spine reinforcement are placed on the cover paper with pre-applied glue in one operation in an absolutely rectangular and with precise bending distances. The standard equipment of the device includes folding bridges with a thickness of 6 mm and 8 mm wide bends (for individual book spines). Folding bridges in long versions for series production and also for other bend widths from 4 mm upwards are available as special accessories. The width of the back can be adjusted very easily and quickly and smoothly by means of a precise guide by a toothed rod using a hand lever from 6 mm to 90 mm. A removable angle plate to extend the table forward is also standard to allow the production of oversized book covers. Max. width of book covers - open: 680 mm Subject to technical changes.
